Charity Care Policy |
Loris Healthcare System will provide inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, same day surgery and observation hospital services to any patient, regardless of race, creed, sex,
national origin, religion, or ability to pay.
For patients who do not have the ability to pay for their care, the hospital will provide these services as charity care to the patients
who qualify.
Charity care is only for hospital services required in the event of an
Emergency or life-threatening condition and is not to be used for
elective, non-urgent patient services.
